Philadelphia magazine named Kelly Munson, Independence Blue Cross (IBX) president and CEO, and Lorina Marshall-Blake, vice president of Community Affairs at IBX and president of the Independence Blue Cross Foundation, to its 2025 list of 150 Most Influential People in Philadelphia.
The annual list recognizes a diverse roster of 150 influential figures, including business leaders, elected officials, athletes, and more.
Munson, who began her new role on October 1 after serving as president and CEO of AmeriHealth Caritas, was ranked 52. In the listing, Munson is praised as “one of the most hardworking and inspirational leaders I’ve had the privilege to work with,” by Charles Pizzi, Board Chair of Independence Health Group.
Marshall-Blake was ranked 72 for her leadership of the IBX Foundation and its commitment to improving access to health care and strengthening the local health care workforce.
