Day-long festival billed as “The Ultimate Day of Health and Wellness”
Independence Blue Cross (IBX) returned for the 12th consecutive year as the presenting sponsor of the popular BeWellPhilly Fest. Held on Sunday May 18 at the BOK building in South Philly, the annual one-day event provided participants with a variety of classes designed to help them find their healthiest and happiest self.
All attendees had the opportunity to enjoy:
- A variety of classes and sessions alongside the region’s top professionals
- A marketplace filled with products and services from the region’s top health and wellness businesses
- Complimentary breakfast and lunch
Cloud Nine
This year, the IBX experience included a focus on sleep hygiene. Attendees visiting IBX’s Cloud Nine experience had the opportunity to pick up a complimentary sleep mask and tips on how to get set for a successful night of sleep, such as:
- Be consistent with wake up and sleep time
- Create a sanctuary with cozy bedding, calming scents, and minimal clutter
- Get moving with regular physical activity
- Prepare for the morning the night before and to wake with less stress
- Skip caffeine, sugar, and alcohol in the hours before bed
