Independence Blue Cross (IBX) encourages its associates to participate in Election Day on November 5, 2024, by supporting them as they exercise their right to vote.
IBX is recognizing Election Day in multiple ways:
- providing associates with a half day of paid time off in order to vote on Tuesday, November 5.
- designating Election Day as a mandatory “no meetings day” across the organization.
- developing IBX Votes, an internal website that provides non-partisan, non-biased information such as how to find a polling place, where candidates and elected officials stand on key issues, and important election deadlines.
The IBX Votes website is not intended to influence how associates vote. Rather, it’s provided to ensure that associates are informed about electoral procedures while encouraging them to cast their ballot.
Pedal to the polls
