The annual women’s health event goes virtual in 2020 – and tickets are free.
For the seventh consecutive year, Independence Blue Cross (Independence) is proud to support women’s well-being as the presenting sponsor of the annual Be Well Philly Boot Camp – now renamed the Be Well Philly Fest. This year the popular event has shifted to an entirely virtual setting to ensure attendees can participate in programming while staying safe at home.
Be Well Philly Fest is free to attend and taking place over 30 days starting Monday, July 6.
Throughout the month, participants can join fitness classes led by the region’s most popular instructors, attend informational talks on a range of wellness topics, including healthy cooking demonstrations, motivational and therapeutic sessions, and more.

Independence’s support of Be Well Philly also includes the Be Well Philly Health Hero Challenge, which recognizes champions of health and wellness who are dedicated to helping others live healthier lives. This year’s challenge will focus on the local health heroes facing the COVID-19 pandemic. The Health Hero Challenge winner receives a $15,000 donation to the charity of his/her choice, and two runners-up receive a $2,500 donation to charity.
Semi-finalists will be announced, and voting will start on August 24, 2020.
