Independence Blue Cross announces Sunshine Award winners of the 6th annual Celebrate Caring campaign

Independence Blue Cross (IBX) announces the three winners of its sixth annual Celebrate Caring campaign, which honors extraordinary nurses in the region:

Among the hundreds of heartfelt nominations submitted by patients, colleagues, family members, and community members, these three nurses go above and beyond to exemplify dedication, compassion, and excellence in their field. Their stories reflect the profound impact nurses have on the lives of their patients and communities.

This year, the winners are being recognized with the Sunshine Award, a new accolade paying tribute to Paula Sunshine, IBX’s former senior vice president and chief marketing officer, who played a significant role in the campaign’s inception. Each winner will receive a $500 gift card and a $2,500 donation to a nonprofit organization of their choice. IBX’s media partners, 6abc and iHeart Radio, will spotlight the stories of these remarkable nurses.
