Ravi Chawla, vice president and chief analytics officer at Independence Blue Cross (IBX), was recognized with an AI100 award at the 2024 MachineCon event presented by AIM Research in New York.
The AI100 Awards recognize artificial intelligence (AI) and analytics thought leaders who have made groundbreaking contributions to the field. Award recipients are individuals who are exploring the potential of AI technologies and transforming the landscape of the industry.
Chawla leads IBX’s data analytics strategy and generative AI development. He established the capabilities of AI in the company though practices such as bias testing and predictive modeling. Chawla’s contributions have allowed IBX to better serve customers and members through machine learning and language models catered to health care.
