Independence Blue Cross (IBX) proudly returns for the fifth consecutive year as an exclusive sponsor of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) Philadelphia Flower Show. The annual event in Philadelphia – the nation’s largest and longest-running horticultural event – is one part of IBX’s long-term support of PHS’s year-round efforts to create beautiful, healthy, safe, and sustainable communities.
Kortney Cruz, IBX senior vice president of Government Markets, participated in a press conference about the Flower Show at The Franklin Institute on January 16. She shared: “I can think of few things that spark more awe and delight than the spectacular exhibits at the PHS Flower Show! Like PHS, we’ve been at the heart of this community for a long time, and our commitment stems from a desire to promote positive physical and mental well-being in the people in our region.”
The 2025 Flower Show will run March 1-9 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center with the theme “Gardens of Tomorrow.” The theme “explores the future through the eyes of visionary designers, expert gardeners, and passionate green enthusiasts as they merge nature’s brilliance with human ingenuity.”
Started in 1829, the Flower Show hosts acres of garden displays, world-renowned competitions in horticulture and artistic floral arranging, gardening presentations and demonstrations, and special events.
