Sponsorship includes nursing suite, discounts, wellbeing reminders, and annual 5k
Independence Blue Cross (IBX) is helping bring new options and discounts to guests visiting Philadelphia Zoo! As a longtime supporter and the official wellness sponsor of the Zoo, IBX is proud to help enhance the visitor experience while sustaining the Zoo’s legacy of pioneering animal care, conservation, and innovation.
Here is what visitors can expect:
- Mamava Nursing Mother’s Suite. IBX is the new sponsor of a self-contained, mobile pod outfitted with comfortable benches, a table, electrical outlet and locking door for privacy offers mothers a quiet, clean, place to nurse or pump. The suite is located near the Impala Fountain and Rare Animal Conservation Center.
- Healthy Path. A variety of colorful, engaging signs along the perimeter of the grounds focus on elements of health and wellness and encourage visitors to “be like” their favorite Zoo animals by being mindful of sleep, stress, friendships and more.
- Member discounts. New, enhanced discounts include $6 off individual tickets and 15 percent off memberships for all IBX members and associates.
- Run Wild Zoo 5k. IBX is the presenting sponsor of the Run Wild for the Zoo 5k Fun Run held each spring. The event welcomes hundreds of runners and walkers in support of nutrition, habitat enhancements, medical care, enrichment activities, and more for 1,900+ animals.
