Stephen P. Fera, executive vice president of Public Affairs and president of Government Markets at Independence Blue Cross (IBX), was named the recipient of the March of Dimes 2024 Excellence in Healthcare Award on Nov. 16.
The award was presented during the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Feeding Motherhood event, which brings guests together alongside some of Greater Philadelphia’s most talented chefs to support the health of moms and babies. Fera was selected as the recipient of the award for his leadership and commitment to addressing health equity, serving the most disadvantaged populations across our region.
The event was chaired by Salvatore J. Patti, division director of commercial banking at WSFS Bank. In addition, Sharon Mills Higgins, chair of the March of Dimes National Board of Trustees, received the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award.
