On August 20, 2026, members of the IBX Blue Crew joined more than 600 corporate volunteers at Cradles to Crayons’ annual Backpack-A-Thon at Lincoln Financial Field. Together, they helped fill more than 36,000 backpacks stuffed with essential school supplies for children in need across the region, helping students start the school year prepared and confident.
The event reflected IBX’s longstanding support of Cradles to Crayons and its mission to provide children with the everyday essentials they need to thrive. For many years, IBX and its associates have supported the organization through community service and donations aimed at improving the well-being of children and families throughout the Philadelphia region.
The Backpack-A-Thon provided another meaningful opportunity for Blue Crew volunteers to live out IBX’s commitment to caring and strengthening the community.
A small act. A big difference.
In 2026, IBX launched the Blue Crew Brain Break Station to create “well-wish” notes for Cradles to Crayons recipients. The goal was to color 2,500 cards of encouragement to be included in the backpack distribution.
Over the four and a half months that the Brain Break Station was available, 649 associates participated through team projects, virtual participation, or by stopping by one of the stations at IBX headquarters to create cards. An incredible 5,990 cards were created, all of which were donated to Cradles to Crayons for distribution during the August 20 event at The Linc.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of IBX associates, the initial card goal wasn’t just met, it was more than doubled!
