
In honor of Women’s History Month, Independence Blue Cross (Independence) vice president of Community Affairs and president of the Independence Blue Cross Foundation (Foundation), Rev. Dr. Lorina Marshall-Blake, was recently interviewed by CBS Philadelphia about the many different hats she wears in the community.
In addition to her work with Independence and the Foundation, Marshall-Blake is a community advocate, philanthropist, and an ordained minister at Vine Memorial Baptist Church.
In the segment, she highlights her upbringing in West Philadelphia, her dedication to helping others and improving outcomes in health care.
“If I had a mantra for Lorina Marshall-Blake, it’s ‘I will always serve,'” she said.
