Ginny Palmieri, vice president of Specialty Services at Independence Blue Cross, is one of 30 women selected for this year’s Women of Distinction class from the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Each year, the Philadelphia Business Journal spotlights influential businesswomen in the region from many industries and professions for their professional achievement, dedication to mentorship, and community involvement.

Commenting on what it means to be a Woman of Distinction, Palmieri said: “I’ve been fortunate to be able to use my voice in a way that can be heard to impact, advance, and drive creativity in both my professional and personal lives. I strive to challenge the status quo and not accept mediocrity as an answer.”
