For the second year in a row, Independence Blue Cross (Independence) is supporting the Prostate Cancer Foundation-MLB Home Run Challenge game in Philadelphia on June 10 vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks. For 24 years, the Prostate Cancer Foundation has partnered with Major League Baseball on the “Keep Dad in the Game” Home Run Challenge, which has raised over $48 million for cancer research.

Community members are encouraged to learn more about the Home Run Challenge at www.pcf.org, where individuals can enter to win two tickets to the 2019 MLB All-Star Game on July 9 in Cleveland, Ohio, by clicking on “Learn More.” This year’s Home Run Challenge runs from June 1 through Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16.

Independence is a proud supporter of the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer in America affecting one out of every nine men.
