Leading global startup company Dreamit presented its 2018 Demo Day in collaboration with Independence Blue Cross (Independence) and Penn Medicine on June 8 at Drexel University’s campus. Annually, Dreamit hosts a Demo Day which allows the selected startup businesses to pitch their ideas to an audience full of health care leaders, investors, and innovators.
Now in its ninth year, Dreamit is a leading digital and medical startup dedicating to guiding companies in their ventures to implement ideas that solve critical health issues.
To kick off Demo Day, Brian Lobley, president of Consumer Markets and Commercial for Independence, and Roy Rosin, Chief Innovation Officer of Penn Medicine, engaged in a fireside chat about health care innovation with Dreamit HealthTech Managing Director Adam Dakin. Following the chat, the seven regional startups in the 2018 Dreamit Health Class pitched their ideas that could transform the health care industry with hopes to gain investors.
