Independence Executive shares thoughts on leadership

Yvette Bright, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Independence Blue Cross, shared her thoughts on leadership, mentoring, and success as a participant in the Center City Proprietors Association (CCPA)’s series, Women Changing the City.

Nearly 100 local business professionals attended the event which featured a lively panel discussion with three other business leaders:
• Deborah Diamond, Ph.D., president, Campus Philly,
• Kathryn Ott Lovell, commissioner, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, City of Philadelphia, and
• Stephanie Resnick, partner, Fox Rothschild LLP.
Amy Buckman, manager of PR and special events at Philadelphia Media Network served as moderator.

The CCPA program features accomplished women from the business community who share their personal stories that reveal the inner strength, vision, and imagination that leads to motivation, influence and positive change.
