At Independence Blue Cross (Independence), our top priority is our members. Everything we do is designed to have a positive impact, and every associate is expected to act for the good of our members. However, there is one group of associates for whom our relationship with our members is personal: our outstanding customer service team.
This past week, Independence held our annual celebration of Customer Service Week, a nationally recognized event honoring the importance of customer service and of the people who serve and support customers every day.
For the second year, Independence celebrated the week virtually with both fun and education for more than 700 customer-facing associates. The theme, “You Make the Difference,” carried throughout displaying the importance of the work they do for our customers, community, company, and their colleagues.
Independence is committed to celebrating important customer service achievements and highlighted the power and importance of serving our members. Each year, Customer Service Week serves as an important boost to morale and motivation, while reinforcing our corporate values.
