Highlights Human-Centered InnovationSM Program focusing on keeping people well
Philadelphia, PA – Independence Blue Cross (Independence) President and CEO Daniel J. Hilferty joined health care leaders and executives from across the country today at the 2015 MedCity News CONVERGE conference to deliver the opening keynote address. Speaking in Philadelphia, Hilferty shared Independence’s vision to revolutionize health care through its Human-Centered InnovationSM Program, an intensive and innovative use of resources that focuses on people and their health to change the way health care is conceived, delivered and experienced.
During a time when consumers are seeking high-quality, personalized, and transparent care at an affordable cost, Hilferty addressed ways that Independence is applying Human-Centered InnovationSM to place its members at the center of every health care decision. Additionally, Hilferty discussed how embracing technology and forming strategic partnerships are two ways to effectively transform and simplify the health care experience.
Held on September 1-2, 2015, at the Hyatt at the Bellevue in Philadelphia, MedCity News CONVERGE gathers leaders from health systems, payers, medical device, pharma and digital health/health IT companies, as well as startups, entrepreneurs, government leaders, investors and more to discuss the latest innovations in health care.
