Independence Blue Cross teams up with Philadelphia Eagles at a gift-wrapping event to benefit Variety — the Children’s Charity

Volunteers from the Independence Blue Cross Blue Crew joined the Philadelphia Eagles and Variety— the Children’s Charity for a special pop-up gift-wrapping event at the Shops at Liberty Place. The event benefited children with disabilities.

Eagles players — including Josh Adams, Dallas Goedert, and Jordan Mailata — Eagles cheerleaders and SWOOP joined in the festivities, wrapping gifts and celebrating the holidays with shoppers.

Independence Blue Cross Foundation president Lorina Marshall-Blake presented an adaptive tricycle — sponsored by Independence through Variety’s Rachael Rosenberg Direct Care program — to Jayden, a disabled child, pictured above.

The public can stop by the Shops at Liberty Place, located at 1625 Chestnut Street, every day through December 24, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. to have gifts wrapped for a donation to Variety.
