Leaders from across the health care industry gathered for the 2026 Pennsylvania NABIP Conference
Independence Blue Cross (IBX) proudly served as a sponsor of the 2026 Pennsylvania NABIP Conference, joining industry leaders from across the state for important conversations about the future of health care insurance in Pennsylvania.
Held April 1 under the theme “Confronting the Cost Crisis,” this year’s conference brought together health care professionals, brokers, and experts to share ideas and explore solutions around affordability, access, and innovation.

Brett Mayfield, IBX senior vice president and local market president, participated in the panel “Major Medical Carrier Executive Voices,” while Mike Zangrilli, IBX sales director, shared insights during “The Future of Healthcare Insurance.” Together, they joined peers in addressing the challenges — and opportunities — shaping today’s health care landscape.

Beyond the sessions, IBX created a welcoming on-site space designed to give attendees a chance to pause, connect, and recharge. The activation reflected IBX’s longstanding commitment to the region by highlighting the company’s community partnerships and volunteer initiatives.
Conference attendees participated in an IBX Blue Crew activity, decorating “well wishes” cards for an upcoming Cradles to Crayons backpack-a-thon. Cradles to Crayons, one of IBX’s strongest community partners, is committed to ensuring that children in the Greater Philadelphia region have the essentials they need to thrive.
