Independence Blue Cross (IBX) proudly joins with the Philadelphia Phillies to launch the second year of IBX Honor Roll. The campaign will honor six outstanding K-12 teachers in the Greater Philadelphia region who are classroom and community MVPs.
Students, friends, family, and community members are encouraged to submit their nominations through March 22, 2026, by visiting ibx.com/teachers.
The VIP experience
Winning teachers will be treated to a VIP experience, including:
- An on-field experience and recognition at a 2026 regular season home Phillies game
- A $500 Visa gift card
- An IBX swag bag, including a Phillies cap and jersey
- Recognition on ballpark concourse signage and IBX social media
- A separate behind-the-scenes ballpark tour on a non-gameday to share with students or staff
Eligibility
Eligible nominees must be current K-12 teachers in the Philadelphia five-county region (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties) or New Jersey and have at least five years of teaching experience at a public, private or parochial school. Nominations will be accepted through March 22, 2026.
IBX Honor Roll winners will be selected based on various criteria that highlight their dedication to fostering a love of learning in the classroom and their active participation in enhancing their communities.

2025 recap
In its first year, the IBX Honor Roll recognized and awarded six extraordinary educators for their commitment to lifelong learning, extracurricular activities, and positively impacting their students’ social and emotional well-being. The 2025 winners – Rick Asman, Allyssa Churchwell, Sarah Damato, Samdai Stricklan, Dr. Jennifer Chrisman, and Stephanie Caracci – were chosen from thousands of heartfelt nominations.
