Philadelphia, PA – Independence Blue Cross (Independence) senior medical director Don Liss, M.D is participating in a panel discussion at the National Comprehensive Cancer Care (NCCN) Policy Summit today at The Westin Arlington Gateway in Arlington, Virginia.
Dr. Liss will participate in a panel titled “Effects of ACA on Academic Cancer Centers,” along with other highly regarded experts in this field from Massachusetts General Hospital, The Brookings Institution, and The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins.
Among other topics, Dr Liss will discuss Independence’s approach to contracting with doctors and hospitals in the new federal marketplaces and how this is affecting the care of cancer patients.
