Independence Blue Cross (IBX) EVP of Health Services Richard Snyder, M.D., recently appeared on an NBC10 “Healthy You” segment to discuss health equity.
Dr. Snyder joined reporter Astrid Martinez to highlight the Regional Coalition to End Race-Based Medicine, an initiative convened by IBX and designed to transition away from race adjustments in clinical decision support tools. Dr. Snyder also talked about the differences in health outcomes in Philadelphia and explained what IBX is doing to address them.
