Incentive program inspires members to be Fearless Fit

PHILADELPHIA — Independence Blue Cross (Independence) announced a new initiative with the Philadelphia Union (Union) to engage members and inspire them to find their Fearless Fit motivation. The Get in the Game incentive program offered through Independence’s Achieve Well-being platform gives members the opportunity to win exciting prizes from the Union simply for completing health-focused activities.

Get in the Game includes customized content and well-being videos featuring Union players and trainers. Members who complete a Get in the Game Achieve Well-being program will be entered into monthly drawings for Union game tickets and gear. Members who complete the most Get in the Game programs will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win the grand prize ― a MLS Union “player for a day” contract that includes watching a Union practice, attending a game, a press conference, and scoring some swag.

“Our Get in the Game program with the Philadelphia Union is an exciting way for members to incorporate healthy activities into their day,” said Paula Sunshine, Independence SVP and Chief Marketing Executive. “Independence has been a proud sponsor of the Philadelphia Union for several years, and this new initiative enhances that partnership through our shared objective of helping members achieve their well-being goals while having fun.”

Members can access Get in the Game and the Achieve Well-being digital toolset through the Independence member portal or mobile app. There they can create a personalized experience focused on physical activity, nutrition, sleep, and stress management. The easy-to-use and motivating tools integrate with technology members already use, like mobile apps and digital health wearables, to track and promote healthy behaviors.

The Get in the Game with Independence Blue Cross prize drawing ends at 11:59 p.m. eastern on October 12, 2018. Visit the terms and conditions.
