In celebration of the Philadelphia Flyers’ 2023-24 season, Independence Blue Cross – Philadelphia’s hometown team and the Flyers first-ever official jersey patch partner – hosted an associate event at the company’s headquarters on Market Street.
On November 14, Fan favorite Gritty joined an enthusiastic crowd of Independence associates in the lobby to support the Flyers’ New Era of Orange and hear remarks from Independence Blue Cross SVP and Chief Marketing Officer Koleen Cavanaugh.
The event included Flyers-themed cookies and balloons, a chance to score Flyers items, and an opportunity for associates to meet and get a photograph with the orange monster.
NBC10 and Telemundo captured the fun and shared it during their evening news broadcasts.
