Hundreds of Independence Blue Cross (IBX) associates took a break at lunchtime to celebrate the Philadelphia Eagles appearance in New Orleans on February 9. Wearing Eagles gear and every shade of green, attendees brought their hometown spirit and energy to the pep rally on Tuesday at IBX headquarters in Philadelphia. IBX is the Official Health Insurance Partner of the Philadelphia Eagles and the presenting partner of Eagles Training Camp.
IBX President and Chief Executive Officer Gregory E. Deavens and Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer Juan Lopez rallied the crowd alongside Barrett Brooks, former Eagles offensive tackle.
Associates ate Eagles-themed snacks, snapped pictures in a Swoop-themed photo area, and watched a new IBX commercial focused on the Eagles that will be featured across several channels. Representatives from the American Heart Association joined the festivities, sharing information about heart health and hands-only CPR.
The pep rally ended with an associate sing-along of the Eagles fight song.
