Independence Blue Cross (IBX) Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications Donna Farrell received an Apex Leader award from LEADERSHIP Philadelphia as part of the organization’s 65th anniversary celebration.
LEADERSHIP Philadelphia, founded in 1959, is a non-profit organization that mobilizes and connects leaders across sectors to serve the community. Through its Core Program, LEADERSHIP Philadelphia enhances participants’ civic knowledge, awareness, and enriches their leadership skills. Apex Leader awards were presented to “extraordinary alumni who embody the values and vision of LEADERSHIP Philadelphia” at the organization’s 65th Anniversary Re-Union Celebration held May 6 at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts.
Farrell is a 2019 graduate of Leadership Philadelphia and serves on the board of the organization.
