Independence Blue Cross president and CEO, Gregory E. Deavens, participated in the HLTH Boston 2021 panel “The Evolution of Reimbursement,” which focused on policy changes brought on by the pandemic and how organizations are making room for continued growth and innovation in telehealth, provider reimbursement, and value-based care.
Marion Couch, chief medical officer of Cambia, and Carrie Nixon, founder and managing partner at Nixon Gwilt Law Group, joined Deavens on the panel. The group discussed how payer and provider partnerships have changed over time and the ways they are working together to overcome challenges created by policies, and what they see as the path forward.
HLTH is one of the largest conferences on health care innovation. The 2021 event took place October 17-20, 2021, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, MA.
