Independence Blue Cross (IBX) celebrated Red October with a special pep rally for its associates featuring the Phillie Phanatic and the American Heart Association (AHA).
The Phanatic brought excitement and energy high for our hometown Phillies and encouraged attendees to register for the annual Heart Walk. Representatives from the AHA joined the festivities, sharing information about heart health and the Philadelphia Heart Walk taking place on November 2 at Citizens Bank Park. This year’s Heart Walk chair is Gregory E. Deavens, IBX president and CEO.
Held at IBX headquarters on Market Street in Philadelphia, the pep rally also featured music and heart-healthy snacks.
