Associates with the IBX corporate volunteer group, the Blue Crew, participated in a pop-up market on June 3 to help celebrate the 90th birthday of Variety – The Children’s Charity of the Delaware Valley. This event highlighted Variety’s vocational programs, which are designed to help young adults with disabilities (ages 21 to 24) develop job and life skills.
Items made by the young adults in Variety’s program, including soap, candles, and baked goods, were available for purchase. The event gave students the opportunity to practice their work skills in a real-world setting.
IBX has supported Variety – The Children’s Charity for more than 12 years. In 2024, the Blue Crew volunteered 135 hours at Variety community events, supporting the cleanup and winterizing of Variety’s camp at the end of the summer season and various beautification efforts on the campgrounds.
