Independence’s Clinical Care Innovation Grant Program supports Penn Medicine’s study on home care for emergency patients

The Philadelphia Inquirer quoted Rodrigo Cerdá, vice president of Clinical Care Transformation at Independence Blue Cross (Independence) to highlight the company’s support of a Penn Medicine study on home care for emergency patients sick enough for the hospital. The effort is part of Independence’s Clinical Care Innovation Grant Program that fosters innovative ways to deliver care and improve its members’ well-being.
