CBS Philadelphia recognized Christina Milligan, CRNP of CHOP Primary Care, Paoli; Juju McClain-Riggins, RN, BSN of Pathways to Housing PA; and Leah Santos, RN, BSN of Penn Transplant Institute as winners of Independence Blue Cross’s fifth annual Celebrate Caring campaign. Their exceptional contributions in their respective health care settings have made a profound impact on their patients and in their communities.
Milligan’s contributions providing invaluable support to children and teenagers facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, and eating disorders, have touched the lives of many.
As a dedicated registered nurse serving at Pathways to Housing PA, McClain-Riggins goes above and beyond her call of duty, performing regular housing calls for individuals battling addictions or experiencing homelessness in some of Philadelphia’s most challenging neighborhoods.
Santos’s work as a liver tumor coordinator at Penn Transplant Institute is just one facet of her impactful career in health care. Beyond her professional role, Santos generously volunteers her time every week at the Sunday Love Project, delivering food to Philadelphians in need.
