Philly First, a new section of The Philadelphia Inquirer, featured a full-page story titled Helping Kids Thrive about how Independence Blue Cross (IBX) is working with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia to promote youth mental health and well-being as part of a national Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) initiative.
The story also highlights the club’s work with area youth and IBX Blue Crew volunteers who spent a day helping out during the club’s “Field Day” event that included projects aimed at self-expression, collaboration, mutual respect, and team building.
IBX is a Signature Partner of Philly First, which focuses on issues that have a positive impact on the short- and long-term economic advancement of Philadelphia and the region.
