Independence Blue Cross hosted 17 Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans from across the nation at the 9th annual dotBlue meeting, which was created to provide a way for Blue plans to share knowledge on a variety of web topics.
This year, Independence welcomed nearly 100 Blue plan representatives from IT, Marketing, and eCommerce for a two-day idea-sharing and collaborative meeting: “Innovating for a Healthy Tomorrow.” The meeting focused on new innovations in member websites, mobile, and social media that enhance the digital experience for Blue plan members.
Representatives from Independence’s Innovation and Marketing teams led sessions and spoke about a number of new and successful web and customer engagement initiatives, including:
- IBX Wiretm – a digital program that provides Independence members with their own personalized, private, and HIPAA-compliant messaging network.
- Independence Live – a new 10,000 square-foot state-of-the-art customer and community health and wellness experience center.
- IBX Opinions– Independence’s online survey tool to gather feedback from its members.
