One-day event features the region’s top fitness and wellness professionals
Independence Blue Cross (IBX) returned for the 11th year as the presenting sponsor of the annual BeWellPhilly Fest. Held on Sunday May 19 at BOK, BeWellPhilly Fest focused on helping participants find their healthiest, happiest self, most empowered selves through:
- An array of all-levels fitness classes
- Hands-on workshops and well-being experiences
- A Be Well Marketplace filled with samples and shopping
- Happy hour sips and snacks and a healthy lunch
At the event, IBX launched the “wheely great smoothies” booth – a collaboration with Indego. Here, participants selected a smoothie flavor, poured the ingredients into a bike-powered blender, then pedaled the Indego bike to blend their smoothie. Smoothies were served in an environmentally friendly, reusable, branded glass jar.
