Independence Blue Cross (IBX) senior vice president of Business Technology Services Sushma Akunuru joined the Digital Health on the Hill event in Washington, D.C., organized by Washington Council Ernst & Young.
This event explored the potential of digitally connected health care and the role policymakers and various stakeholders play in accelerating transformation. Discussions highlighted how leaders in health care are shaping its future by advancing patient-centered care, promoting equitable delivery, and recognizing the significant role of digital transformation and policy within the health care ecosystem.

Akunuru participated as a guest panelist on the Screening for Success: ROI of Digital Health Interventions panel, moderated by Jason Rife, managing director of health care transformation at EY.
